Adopting a GSP Through
GSP Rescue of Idaho:
|
Adopting a rescued GSP can be a huge commitment. It can also be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life.
Whether you choose to adopt should be about wanting to help a GSP in need,
and not
about saving money.
Before we can consider you as a potential adopter on the waiting list for a rescued GSP in Idaho, we must have a completed
adoption application on file from you,
including references and personal information, and one of our volunteers will visit you to perform a "home check" to verify the situation you describe on your application form. (e.g.: availability of fenced yard, presence of other pets, children, etc.).
While this may seem silly at first, please realize that this helps GSP Rescue of Idaho ensure the best match possible between you and any rescued dog available. For instance, we wouldn't want to place a cat-sharp GSP with a family who had several cats, or a GSP used to being an "only dog" with someone who already has dogs, etc.
If you think rescuing a needy GSP is the right decision for you, we'd love to hear from you. Just click
to email us, fill out our
online
response form, or our
online
adoption questionnaire.
